Winter Events at Ye Olde Bookshoppe and Downtown Wenatchee!
We have several winter events happening starting on November 25th with Small Business Saturday and a Trunk Show with S. Rose Vintage Designs. December 3rd will start the Mingle and Jingle where many of us will be open 12-4 on Sunday through Christmas. Open Mic Nights, a couple book signing events and First Friday! TRUNK SHOW
S. Rose Vintage Designs Trunk Show
S. Rose Vintage Designs, Alicia Nelson, Jewelry Designer. One of a kind vintage button jewelry and accessories create in loving memory of her daughter, Skylar Rose Nelson (March 22, 1999-January 12, 2015). 20% of proceeds go directly to AFSP.org American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.
MINGLE & JINGLE
Mingle & Jingle, WDA Event
December 3rd is Downtown Mingle & Jingle, Sponsored by Columbia Pet Service, you don’t want to miss this fun event downtown! The first customers of the day at participating retailers will receive a signature ornament with purchase. Ye Olde Bookshoppe will open Sundays 12-4 through the holidays. (WDA event)
FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK
December 1st. 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Ye Olde Bookshoppe will have 3 talented locals in the store!
Tara Fife – First Friday Art Walk
Tara Fife is a 23 year old local that has been painting as a hobby since junior high, specializing in abstract painting. She was born and raised in the valley with her four brothers. She now works as one of the managers at the East Wenatchee Safeway while doing online schooling.
Winter’s Warren First Friday Art Walk
Jim Tarbert & Darlene Matule
S.M. Winter, local business manager, who’s love of writing is only superseded by her love of family. Specializing in urban fantasy and young adult novels, she is working on her current Elemental Series with a 4th book in the current arch on its way.
Aspiring Artist, Aimee, is a local jewelry maker, who has a passion for all things nerdy. She specializes in wire wrapped key jewelry in an assortment of styles.
BOOK SIGNING EVENT
December 8th, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jim Tarbert and Darlene Matule are two of Wenatchee’s best will be joining us. Come in and meet a couple local authors and pick up signed copies of their books for yourself or a gift. Amazing story tellers and gifted writers.
OPEN MIC
Open Mic nights on Tuesdays at 6 will continue.
MAIN STREET CHRISTMAS
Join us downtown for a Main Street Christmas! Santa arrives in downtown on December 2nd, followed by free photos with Santa! The following weekend, December 9 & 10 join us for photos, crafts and more! The final day for free photos with Santa will be December 10. (WDA event)
