Sue Magrath will be on-site with her book “Healing the Ravaged Soul” on the First Friday Art Walk in February. Hours for her appearance will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Of the many aftereffects of sexual abuse, spiritual wounds are the least addressed, yet they are pivotal to adult survivors who seek to rediscover faith on their way to healing. With grace and gentleness, author Sue Magrath, a spiritual director and former psychotherapist, guides readers toward a God who loves them and understands their suffering.

Ye Olde Bookshoppe is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays, and we are happy to announce that Donnie Johnson is back! We have missed his face as much as you have. He will be in the store on Fridays and Saturdays from 11’ish to 8 p.m. doing psychic readings, Reiki and displaying his art.

We have many new items added to our inventory and a couple more local artists. Our selection of sterling silver has been expanded to include sterling silver spoon rings and much more. Other things new to our inventory are candles, crystals, locally crafted stained glass, blank greeting cards, cigar box guitars, not to mention even more books and hats! You know how we love books and hats!

Some come join the fun downtown this Friday! Many venues hosting artists, muscians and authors. First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Wenatchee is great fun! Come into the store early and pick up a brochure showing you all of the events taking place.
