Rachel Courtney, Pretty Nice Creations, has been interested in designing and creating art from a young age. She has been making hand-made jewelry, blankets, and scarves for decades and recently started painting. She started crocheting in 2000 and has been making blankets for Project Linus ever since. She launched her Etsy store for Pretty Nice Creations in 2010 and has grown her online selling from scarves and blankets to a wide variety of crafts and graphic design work. Rachel received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications in 2003 and a certificate in digital graphics technology in 2004. Her love of the simple beauties in life led to the founding of her graphic design company, Pretty Nice Creations where she can share her designs with the world. Beyond her graphics and textile work, Rachel is an accomplished photographer and marketing expert who helps local businesses grow their reach online and off.
Rachel will be at Ye Olde Bookshoppe for the First Friday Art Walk, June 7th, 5-8 p.m. Some of here items are carried in the shop year-round.
