Here is a little bit of information about me:
I enjoy being with family, camping, boating and being around people in general. I also enjoy fishing and RVing with my husband. My favorite pastime is painting. I love to paint with acrylics and oil paint on canvas. I’ve painted on wood, tile, glass, and even rocks ( in which I leave in various places for people to find). I also enjoy teaching others my God-given talent of painting. I didn’t start painting until one day I woke up from a dream that I had of my mother. In this dream, I saw my mother in a beautiful garden in heaven. I lost my mother to a brain aneurysm a few weeks previous to this dream. The dream was so vivid to me with all the flowers and colors. I remember that in my dream, my mother seemed so peaceful in God’s garden. I knew I had to try to at least draw or paint what I saw in my dream. So I did just that. I then made copies of my painting and gave a copy to each one of my seven siblings. I have been painting ever since that day and I either sell or give my paintings away. I love to see the smile on someone’s face when I present him or her with the gift that God has given me, my talent in the form of paint.
A short description of my book:
This story is written about the choices I made, the things I went through, and the secrets I kept for so many years—from being sexually molested and abused as a child, to getting married as a teenager and what led me to have an abortion. You will read how God has brought me through those times and showed me how to deal with them and how to heal. Now I feel led to share my story in hopes of helping others.
It was hard for me to put it “all” out there but God not only pushed me along the way but He helped me get through every bit of it as well. I just had this book published in February, of this year, and I am happy to tell you that it has already saved a couple of unborn children’s lives. I pray that God will continue to use it to save lives as well as to heal the broken-hearted.
