Bee People and the Bugs They Love
by Frank Mortimer, a review by RantingLunatic
It was filled with fascinating and entertaining stories as well as misfortunes and mistakes made along the way. Nothing was overly technical and those of us who aren’t in the buzz – er – biz can easily follow along.
I found this to be a happy, feel-good read that takes you along the author’s journey from the time he begins as a beekeeper through the time he becomes a certified master beekeeper.
The narrative is filled with quirky and offbeat characters who also love bees and beekeeping. I’d say this book focuses more on the people he’s met along the way, which made it endearing to me.
4 out of 5 stars.
