These Silent Woods by Kimi Cunningham Grant, a review by CMcE Crazy Book Fanatic
As I read through chapter by chapter I found a common theme of inner turmoil, the need to stay hidden yet a yearning for connection… The mental description throughout the book draws you in from the moment you open it the pages draw a world hidden in fear and desperation. You feel drawn into their world of seclusion, dread of the what-if. The mystery that surrounds this family of two will cause a connection with the reader that will really move you to places where you may not be ready to go. There were many times that I had to put the book down and reflect on many aspects of my own life. The book goes slow at times, but trust, me it is worth the time invested.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
