March is a time for spring cleaning where we clean out closets and get rid of things we no longer want. Applying this to our personal lives might mean pruning away poor attitudes that could lead to depression. Instead, focus on the good things in your life and give thanks for them.
I have just completed reading Former President George W Bush’s book, “Portraits of Courage.” He sent our young men and women to war and so many were injured, losing legs, arms, hearing along with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). There were many more injuries I have not written about. However, he kept his promise to be their for them when they returned home by taking them on mountain bike excursions, etc. “Portraits in Courage” are short stories about how our military veterans have overcome personal traumas giving hope to all that recovery from life’s tragedies is possible.
If I can help just one person through my video or “Matt’s Last Call: Surviving Our Protectors” it will all be worthwhile.
